Heartland Prowler 300BH
Sticker was $42,380 in 2024. Out of production since 2024, so the used market is the only way to buy one. Estimate assumes a 2024 unit.
dry weight 6,630 lb + fresh water (41 gal, full) 342 lb + propane + battery 200 lb + gear for 2 600 lb. Brochure dry weight omits water, propane, batteries and your gear; this estimate doesn't.
Judged the way the app judges: estimated loaded weight against each vehicle's rating less a 10% margin, per model year, because the 300BH's published weights changed mid-run.

Heartland (Caution tier): Heartland's price-leader travel trailer - wood-framed with corrugated aluminum siding and only R-7 walls through 2022; the 2023 switch to Azdel on welded aluminum helped, but the line's water-intrusion and fit-and-finish complaints keep it in the budget tier.
| YEARS | GVWR | DRY | MSRP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2019–22 | 9,000 lb | 6,785 lb | $29,436 |
| 2023–24 | 9,000 lb | 6,630 lb | $42,380 |
- 2019Introduced as a new floorplan in the redesigned Prowler line (33'11", GVWR 9,000 lb, dry 6,785 lb)
- 2022Body stretched from 33'11" to 34'7"
- 2023Renamed 300SBH; wood frame with aluminum siding replaced by Azdel laminated sidewalls on welded aluminum; dry down to 6,630 lb
- 2024Final year. Brochure kept GVWR at 9,000 lb but the Heartland spec page revised it to 9,600 lb with a 2,938 lb cargo rating - check the trailer's own federal label
- 2025Dropped; Prowler moved to 4-digit floorplan names
Common: usually several for sale within a day’s drive. Why: Heartland is a volume manufacturer. Estimated from build volume and production span, not a count of live listings.
Big, cheap and full of beds - but it's a 34-foot budget trailer on two 4,400 lb axles, so weigh it loaded before you trust anybody's tow-rating math.
